Join us Thursday, August 27 back at Sophie La Gourmande for a classic Cake Friends Workshop! In this 2.5-hour, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to base ice + expertly finish a 6” cake with smooth Swiss meringue buttercream.
As our cakes chill, we’ll teach you about different varieties of edible and food-safe flowers and provide a demo on pressing and processing fresh flowers. Additionally, we’ll teach classic vintage piping techniques with some of our favorite tips. The flowers and piping will come together to create a perfectly colorful, summery cake! This cake will last 5+ days in the fridge, and 1-3 months in the freezer. Each ticket includes:
- 6” cake (serves 8-10)
- Cake Friends’ signature spread of snacks, sweets, cocktails + mocktails
